Why this site exists

Crawl space work is hard to shop for. The vocabulary is inconsistent, two quotes for the same house can describe different projects, and most of what a homeowner finds online is written to sell rather than to explain. CrawlLock exists to explain the components, the trade offs, and the questions that separate one proposal from another.

What CrawlLock is

• An information publisher focused on crawl spaces in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
• A source of comparison tools, such as the printable quote checklist.
• A business that intends to refer homeowner requests to independent service providers.

What CrawlLock is not

• Not an installation contractor. We do not inspect, install, repair, or remediate.
• Not a rating or review service. We publish no ratings, reviews, or vetting claims.
• Not a diagnostic service. We cannot tell you what is happening under your floor.

How we write

• We link to authoritative sources near the claims they support.
• We do not publish prices, savings figures, or averages we cannot support.
• We do not present a national source as proof of a Charlotte specific price or requirement.
• We do not invent authors, credentials, expert reviewers, or refreshed dates.
• Pages carry a real published date and are only re dated on a substantive revision.

What we have not established yet

We are being deliberate about not claiming more than exists. As of the date on this page:

• Estimate requests are not open, and no personal details are collected.
• No public phone number, email address, or office address is published.

Company details

We are not publishing a founder biography, a company history, an editorial team, or credentials, because doing so accurately requires information the owner has not provided for publication. Business identity and contact details will be added here once approved.
