How CrawlLock Works

What CrawlLock does

• Publishes plain English guides about crawl space moisture, drainage, and encapsulation.
• Provides comparison tools such as the printable quote checklist.
• Intends to pass homeowner requests to independent service providers.

What CrawlLock does not do

• We do not inspect, install, repair, remediate, or warranty anything.
• We do not employ crews or technicians, and we do not visit homes.
• We do not vet, rate, license, or insure any provider, and we publish no reviews.
• We do not diagnose a specific home or interpret test results.

The intended process

1. You read. Use the guides to understand the components, the cost drivers, and the questions worth asking.
2. You describe your situation. When requests open, a short two step form will ask for your ZIP code, your main concern, whether you own or manage the property, optional timing, and how you prefer to be contacted.
3. You consent to a specific introduction. Before anything is shared, the consent text will name the businesses that would receive your details and the contact methods you permit. Nothing will be pre-checked.
4. An independent provider contacts you. Any assessment, quote, contract, work, and warranty is between you and that business.

How CrawlLock expects to be paid

CrawlLock intends to earn money by referring or selling qualified homeowner requests to independent service providers. That means a provider may pay us when we introduce you. We are telling you that up front so you can weigh our guidance with it in mind.

We do not accept payment to change what a guide says, and we do not recommend encapsulation as the answer to every problem. Where we cannot support a claim, we leave it out.

What we will not promise

• We do not promise a provider is available in your area today.
• We do not promise a number of quotes, or a response time.
• We do not promise pricing, savings, or an outcome.
• We do not promise that a provider is licensed, insured, or qualified for your job. Verify that yourself.

Where our content audience starts

Our examples and local references focus on Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Matthews, Concord and nearby communities. That is an editorial focus, not a statement that providers currently serve those places through CrawlLock.

Verify any provider yourself

Whoever you hire, ask for the license and insurance certificates, confirm them with the issuing body, read the contract and the exclusions, and get the warranty terms in writing before you pay a deposit.
